Discover Kano

Visiting Kano is always a memorable trip for tourists and business travelers alike. Situated in the northern part of the country, Kano is Nigeria’s second largest city, offering the friendliest culture, ancient history, vibrant trade, and genuine hospitality.

Places to Visit

Through our affiliation with Kano State Tourism Board (KSTB), we are able to organise guided tours of Kano and many neighbouring districts. Visit the Emir’s Palace, the dyeing pits, weaving and pottery villages, Minjibir Lake or Tiga Dam, to name but a few. You can even visit nearby towns and cities if your time allows. An expedition to the renowned Yankari Reserve in Bauchi State can also be arranged. KSTB will gladly offer friendly advice and recommendations.

Events

The annual Kano Durbar festival is truly a special event. Celebrated at the end of the two major Muslim feasts, Eid Al Fitr and Eid Al Kabir, the occasion is marked with colourful parades of skilled horsemen and ceremonies all over the city, culminating at the Emir’s palace. It is tradition at its best.
